Wei (Wayne) Zou

Wei (Wayne) Zou has a strong background in both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Before coming to Canada, he worked as a physician in China for 10 years and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Hematology after completing his medical training at Jilin University.

Wei has a special clinical interest in pain management, anxiety, and insomnia. He commonly works with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, back and neck pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, joint and musculoskeletal pain, as well as anxiety, stress, difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking, and other sleep-related concerns.

His treatments may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, and other Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, depending on each patient’s individual needs. In addition to his areas of focus, Wei works with patients experiencing a wide range of other health concerns commonly addressed through acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Wei is known for his warm, attentive, and individualized approach to patient care. Drawing on his extensive clinical background, he takes time to understand each patient’s symptoms and overall health in order to develop a thoughtful and individualized treatment plan.
